Mosa Abdul Qader

Let us share one of Swedens best upcoming all rounders

Mosa’s cricket journey started in a lighthearted way. As a kid, he tagged along to U15 trainings while also enjoying soft ball cricket with the U13s. Back then, he wasn’t serious — he bowled a bit, joked around, and even admitted he was scared of the hard ball. He just wanted to play for fun.

When he grew older, he began featuring in U15 matches, mostly as a reserve. With so many players in the squad, his chances were limited. But when the opportunities finally came, he bowled pace and even picked up 3 wickets in one of his early games. Still, something didn’t feel right.

That’s when Mosa made the switch to spin. With guidance from his coaches, he worked hard over the winter and transformed into a reliable spinner. In 2024, he had a breakthrough year, performing consistently and proving his value as a bowler. By 2025, he also began to conquer his old fear of the hard ball — not just facing it, but attacking it. He started taking down fast bowlers with confidence. In one game, he smashed a Sweden U19 national player for 16 runs in a single over. It was clear that Mosa had discovered his destructive side — a real taste for demolition.

From a boy who once played only for fun and feared the hard ball, to a growing all-rounder capable of changing games, Mosa’s journey shows resilience, growth, and a hunger to keep improving. His story is only just beginning.
